Paradise (means enclosed area)

Duo presentation together with Akycha Tegelaar @This Art Fair - Amsterdam looking at the seemingly paradoxical meaning of the word paradise. Where Akycha’s paintings depicted the theme as seen from inside an enclosed area, I took on the outsider gaze. Looking into the curious contradiction of a peaceful enclosed garden that comes with a lot of rules and regulations. And escape routes.
